12/09/2000 3:00PM When someone tells me that a burrito is as big as a baby, maybe I should believe them next time. Last night was the first time I have ever been to Café Pierpont. Damn, that is a cool restaurant. The food is awesome, the atmosphere isn’t bad, and there are plenty of good-looking people around. Even though the wait was forty-five minutes, I didn’t mind. I had my first margarita… it was some blue, $9 drink that one of my waiters had recommended to me. This was the best drink I have ever had! Of course, my stomach was empty and I drank the margarita too quickly. Fifteen minutes later, I was really buzzed. If I would have had another one of these blissful drinks, I would have been completely wasted. After a little while, Tim and I were seated. Tim really wanted to go to this restaurant because George had been talking about how the “Mucho Grande Burrito” was as big as a baby. I didn’t really believe him when he told me… thinking “they cannot possibly make a burrito that big”. Tim ordered one, and when they brought it out, the people around us were amazed at how big that thing was! The burrito must have been at least five pounds, over a foot long, about four to five inches high, and about the same in width. I cannot ever imagine eating that much food at one time. Tim managed to finish off a third of that thing! Tim asked the waiter if anyone ever finished a Mucho Grande Burrito… he told us that a few people have, and the people that usually do are typically thin high school girls. Hehe, now I need a woman like that! J j/k |
