The Democratic CD caucuses were held on 5/17/2008. The caucus for the 7th CD was held in Seattle, WA. Delegates for the Democratic National Convention were elected. I believe the first Iraqi-American delegate, Majid AL-Bahadli, was elected.

On 2/8/2008, Barack Obama held a rally at Key Arena in Seattle. He’s a hell of a public speaker and the venue was completely packed. Man, it’d be nice to have press access to one of these events and a better telephoto lens.
